The Team
Based in the Devonport region, come and join our supportive team of 8 podiatrists to provide foot health services to the North-West coast of Tasmania, one of the most naturally beautiful parts of the world. The team works closely with multidisciplinary health professionals to support people living with complex and chronic health conditions, with a strong focus on high‑risk foot care, prevention, and patient‑centred outcomes
The Role
- Deliver a range of foot care services in accordance with the client’s care plan as directed by Podiatrists.
- Work as a member of the podiatry team and within multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical support to Podiatrists.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including podiatry instruments, equipment and stock.
- Provide general administrative duties related to the podiatry service
You will need
- Willingness to provide clinical foot care services to clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team

Details of appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 6 July 2026 until 16 July 2027.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$70,033 to $75,114 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025

Eligibility
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or a relevant qualification in health, aged care or disability services

Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or Podiatry Assistant

Current Driver’s Licence

Position Features
- The occupant/s of this position will also be required to travel as directed by the Podiatry Manager to community health centres and other clinical locations in north-west Tasmania
