- Multipurpose facility with 24 hour emergency care, 5 sub-acute beds, 9 residential aged care beds, community nursing, day centre as well as visiting medical specialists and allied health.
- We also oversee a community health clinic on truwana/Cape Barren Island that provides community and emergency care for this remote aboriginal community.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced enrolled nurse to join our dedicated team of nurses and health care workers at the Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre.
You will need:
- At least 2 years post graduate experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Aged Care would be an advantage.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,109 to $80,524 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Regional Allowances:
- District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family
- Remote Professional Development Allowance of $4,062 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%
