The Team:
Primary Health North West is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with specialisation in Wound Care to undertake high level clinical leadership in the development, provision and evaluation of a wound care service within a primary health framework and in accordance with Agency policy and procedure. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for evaluating and implementing changes to clinical practice, initiating research, education and quality improvement activities and will act as a leader, advisor and mentor for other nurses and clinicians to ensure high level clinical excellence in this practice area.

The Role:
- Provide expertise in chronic and complex wound management within the community setting.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence based practice
You will need:
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
• Experience in complex wound care and strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
• Commitment to cultural safety and inclusive practice

Details of appointment:
- Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$148,470 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
