Job description:

Primary Purpose: The Domestic Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness across the Launceston General Hospital and areas of responsibility under the umbrella of House Services. In doing so, the Domestic Supervisor: • Oversees the daily performance of staff engaged on a variety of routine manual and operational cleaning tasks. • Ensures quality control of work in accordance with established procedures, standards and regulations.

You will need

1.  The ability to deliver practical, hands on training, demonstrating correct cleaning techniques and adherence to WHS and Infection Control policies and procedures.

2.  Sound computer knowledge to assist with mandatory training requirements and the development of training materials and procedures.

3.  Attention to detail and problem solving ability.

Details of appointment

  • Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$76,849 to $82,996 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
