
The Team
The North West Speech Pathology Team provides services to inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation patients and community patients. We are located at North West Regional Hospital, Mersey Community Hospital and Devonport Community & Health Services Centre as well as visiting our Primary Health sites and other community settings.
The Role
Assist the Manager with coordination and management of the Speech Pathology Service in the North West. Provide Clinical Leadership and direction to the team that provides services to the adult population.
You will need
- Excellent clinical skills & knowledge to work with adult inpatient and outpatient presentations
- Flexibility to manage a clinical caseload, lead the Adult team and carry out other duties including reviewing & developing policies and procedures, service review and planning and leading and supporting others with Quality Improvement projects.
- Experience in managing human resources including recruitment, orientation, rostering, supervision and performance development

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team!

Salary
$131,122 to $138,984 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $135,445 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Speech Pathology Australia
- Eligible for membership with the Speech Pathology Australia
Or where regulatory requirements exist, NDIS Q&S Commission Provider Registration Requirements
- Full member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Working with Children Registration
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in health services management
- Current Driver’s Licence
