The Team
ComRRS NW is a community-based service designed to help clients avoid hospitals by collaborating closely with their GPs to provide essential care in the home. Led by Nurse Practitioners (NP), the service operates seven days a week, delivering timely, complex, and client-centred care throughout the North West Coast of Tasmania.
ComRRS NW provide a rapid acute response to those in the community with an acute illness, injury or exacerbation of a pre-existing complex/chronic condition.
Work with a dynamic team consisting of NUM, CNC, NP's, CNS's & RN's in close collaboration with local GP's in a hospital avoidance model providing care to clients in their homes, as well as residential aged care facilities and community clinics.
The Role
The North West Community Rapid Response Service is seeking a dedicated registered nurses to join our team. Details of appointment
- Fixed term, part time, shift worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, 2 August 2026 until 13 March 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
