The Team

Digital Infrastructure Services provides the foundational technology platforms that keep Tasmania’s public health system connected, secure and operational. The team delivers and supports enterprise data centres, compute and storage platforms, virtualisation, data protection, network connectivity, Wi‑Fi and core infrastructure services that underpin clinical, corporate and business systems across the state.

Working in a complex 24×7 always-on health environment, the team plays a critical role in service reliability, cyber resilience, asset lifecycle management, infrastructure modernisation, and the delivery of technology that directly supports frontline care. This is your opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering Digital Infrastructure services to hospitals, health facilities, clinicians, staff and the Tasmanian community.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their ICT career to build practical experience in enterprise networking and communications while contributing to services that directly support hospitals, clinicians, staff and the Tasmanian community.

You will need

  • A sound foundation in IT and networking concepts, with an interest in communications, connectivity and infrastructure support.
  • The ability to support service delivery, including troubleshooting issues, assisting with incidents and service requests, and working effectively with team members, vendors and service providers.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills, with the ability to follow documented processes and work effectively in a busy environment with competing priorities.
