Job description:

As a member of the Asset Management and Planning team, the occupant will contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania’s community infrastructure portfolio, with a particular focus on social and affordable housing, by assisting in the strategic management of the Homes Tasmania property portfolio and administration of related homeownership products and property sales for new homes.

$ 102,027.00 to $ 106,985.00 pro rata, per annum - plus 12.0 % Superannuation

Period of employment / Hours:

Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

As a member of the Asset Management and Planning team, the occupant will contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania’s community infrastructure portfolio, with a particular focus on social and affordable housing, by assisting in the strategic management of the Homes Tasmania property portfolio and administration of related homeownership products and property sales for new homes.

Skills and experience :

Selection criteria includes:

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to identify, define, seek approval for, implement, monitor and review the performance of a project, or parts thereof.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business improvement standards, including the ability to identify and define an issue and recommend a solution.
  • Demonstrated research skills, including an ability to collate, coordinate, interpret and analyse information, together with the ability to improve or create new policies, strategies and procedures.
  • Note : - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for ALL the selection criteria of this position.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in asset management, construction/engineering, land use planning and/or project management.

Essential Requirements:
