Job description:

Provide administrative and technical support for the CSD Electronic Instrument Tracking System (EITS), instrument management systems, repairs, reporting, and staff support to ensure efficient CSD operations.

The Role

  • Maintain the CSD EITS by providing guidance, training, technical and administrative support to staff in the tracking system, other
    relevant CSD information systems use and operational procedures. Troubleshooting day to day system issues and liaising with the Department of Health Information Management and Technology Services (IMTS) and the EITS company specialists regarding scheduled updates and planned and unplanned outages. Ensuring to assist the Nurse Manager in reviewing, evaluating and modifying established information system standards and practices. Undertaking appropriate administrative and data entry tasks for various CSD systems.
  • Assist and guide staff in their undertaking of mandatory and onsite specific training related to CSD electronic systems. 
  • Assist the Nurse Manager with maintenance of electronic information/records related to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 4187: Reprocessing of reusable medical devices in health service organisations) mandatory testing and auditing processes.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 72 hours per fortnight, commencing from 12 Oct 2026 until 30 Nov 2026.

Salary

$76,849 - $82,996 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation 

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
