The Team
The George Town District Hospital and Community Services provide 15 acute care beds, physiotherapy, dental and podiatry services, and other visiting providers. Other services provided by the Hospital include Palliative care, Community Nursing, Home Help/Personal Care.
The Role
An exciting casual opportunity is available for an Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 to join the team at George Town Hospital and Community Centre in Northern Tasmania for a two-year period. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role provides patient-centred nursing care across a diverse rural and community healthcare setting. The position contributes to the delivery of high-quality clinical care, supports positive patient outcomes, and works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet the healthcare needs of the local community.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$46.07 to $50.74 per hour (incl of 25% Casual loading). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Eligibility

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
