The Role

The Hotel Services Administration Team at King Island Hospital and Health Centre (KIHHC) plays a key role in supporting the delivery of healthcare services as part of the Tasmanian Health Service. The role provides reception and front-of-house administrative support, responding to enquiries in a professional, timely and confidential manner, while undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties including data entry, document preparation, filing and records management. The role will be responsible for maintaining electronic information systems, ensuring accurate and complete records, and assist with the coordination of staff rosters. This role works closely with hotel services staff supporting catering, cleaning and laundry functions, helping to ensure the hospital and health centre operates efficiently and continues to provide a safe, welcoming and high-quality service to the King Island community.

You will need

  • Provide professional reception and administrative support for Hotel Services, including responding to enquiries, data entry, records management and maintaining electronic systems.

  • Assist with workforce administration activities, including staff rostering, to support the efficient operation of services.

  • Support the coordination of catering, cleaning and laundry services, working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for patients, residents and visitors.

Details of appointment

Permanent full time, day worker, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. 

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$76,849 to $82,996 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
