As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, the Digital Support Officer will assist in the provision of technical support, maintenance, training, consultation and the drafting of documentation on issues relating to a range of web services and development.
The position requires both technical and non-technical skills, with the ability to research user needs, providing recommendations based on that research, undertaking of technical solutions, and assisting colleagues and customers. The Digital Support Officer is to ensure that existing systems and services are well supported and contribute to the strategic planning and development of TasTAFE’s online presence, whilst meeting specified objectives of users.
The Digital Support Officer will be required to assist with the implementation of the organisation’s new website, which includes, user testing, interface/UX design, quality assurance and compliance.
The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

A relevant tertiary qualification.
