Job description:

The purpose of the role is to assist the Tasman Field Centre staff with the day-to-day administration, servicing and business operations of the Fortescue Bay campground.

About the role

Support the business operations of the Fortescue Bay campground in a varied role which includes retail sales and collection of fees, maintaining stock, undertaking routine servicing and cleaning of facilities and amenities for visitor use. 

Represent Parks and Wildlife Services (PWS) as you handle enquiries and provide information and advice to visitors to this breathtakingly beautiful region in the Tasman National Park.

Staff accommodation is available whilst working on shift. The residence will be shared with other PWS staff at times.

Hours per fortnight

Minimum 100 hours per annum (employed on a roster basis, hours will vary).

Period of appointment

Desirable requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
  • A current First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
