Duties
The role of Learning and Development Support Officer within State Emergency Services (SES), DPFEM will support the management and delivery of learning and development for SES. To be successful in the role you will have experience in the co-ordination, development and maintenance of information systems and electronic systems as management tools. You will also be confident in communicating and problem solving through a variety of communication channels.
As a member of the SES, you will require a forward thinking, values-based approach. You will bring to this role initiative, skills and qualifications in the learning and development space, and a sound understanding of working with a variety of different stakeholders.

The Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment. - Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge and expertise consistent with qualifications recognised at Diploma or equivalent level.
- TAFE qualification (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or above).
