Job description:

Develop internal communications that support the objectives of the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) strategic communication aims. This position will focus on producing internal communications related to critical and strategic projects and issues impacting the Tasmania Fire Service and State Emergency Service.

Period of Appointment

Fixed Term, Full Time for 12 months

Duties

Develop internal communications that support the objectives of the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) strategic communication aims.
This position will focus on producing internal communications related to critical and strategic projects and issues impacting the Tasmania Fire Service and State Emergency Service.

Essential Requirements

Pre-Employment Checks

  • Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
  • Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
  • Making false declarations;
  • Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
  • Malicious damage and destruction to property
  • Trafficking of narcotic substance;
  • False alarm raising.
