Job description:
Implement the Field Centre operation plans, carry out works programs and projects to achieve the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources.

The purpose of the role is to implement the Field Centre operation plans, carry out works programs and projects to achieve the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources, including the management and appreciation of Aboriginal heritage values on reserved land.

Hours per fortnight
76.0 hours per fortnight (minimum 60.8 hours, by negotiation).
Essential requirements
- Aboriginality. The Head of the State Service has determined that this is an Aboriginal identified position, and that the person nominated for this position is to meet the Tasmanian Government’s eligibility requirements in accordance with Employment Direction No. 10 - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment in the State Service before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
- A workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
Desirable requirements
- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualifications.
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
