Job description:

Join our Property team in Hobart to help deliver an exciting suite of strategic projects. You will work in a dynamic area aimed at improving Treasury’s property assets and will help other Treasury staff seeking building facilities assistance.
  • The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a new Property Officer to help with the processes to sell surplus Government properties.
  • You will assist with strategic property projects that are both exciting and interesting and will work with internal staff in relation to operational facilities tasks.
  • You will work with a supportive team, have access flexible working arrangements as well as quality learning and development.

About you

You are a positive individual with sound organisational and time management skills. Your administrative skills and aptitude for working within policy frameworks are well recognised. You understand the principles of purchasing for government and payment of accounts, and your stakeholder engagement skills are well regarded.

About the Branch

The Property branch provides advice on and administers the Treasury office portfolio and facilities and is responsible for Treasury’s strategic projects. The branch also manages and administers the Government’s major property sales and major office accommodation leases.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

Desirable Requirements

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
