Duties
- Manage the office of the Electoral Commissioner, including the provision of comprehensive administrative and executive support functions, preparation and coordination of confidential correspondence and other documentation where required or as directed.
- Provide professional secretariat support to meetings of the Commission, Executive Management Group and Senior Leadership Group. Prepare and disseminate correspondence and briefing papers for meetings and liaise with the Electoral Commissioner and Commission staff to prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and associated reports.
- Research and prepare draft responses to routine correspondence and reports. Coordinate the preparation of background notes, briefing materials and other information as required.
- Provide high level professional client service to the general public through management of the TEC general email account, management of postal mail, triaging of telephone calls and attendance to corporate reception enquiries.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the TEC including high quality document production, travel and function arrangements, co-ordination of meetings and conferences, purchase of corporate materials and supplies and telephone screening.
- Contribute as part of the Business team to the performance of administrative, financial and governance support and relief functions as required and directed.
- Perform other duties as envisaged by the assigned classification under the relevant award and in accordance with the skills, competence and training of the occupant.
