Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Working with other subject matter experts, design, implement, manage, and review strategies and reforms within the workers rehabilitation and compensation and asbestos compensation schemes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with scheme participants (insurers and self-insurers, medical and allied health practitioners, lawyers, service providers, employers, unions, and others) to promote, implement, and review strategies and reforms.
- Develop briefing and other materials for the Director, Executive Director, and WorkCover Board.
- Working with the Stakeholder Engagement Unit, develop information, education, and advice materials relating to the schemes.
- Working with the Policy and Projects Unit, design, implement, manage, and review projects relating to the workers rehabilitation and compensation and asbestos compensation schemes.
- Perform other duties as envisaged by the assigned classification under the relevant industrial award or agreement and in accordance with the skills, competence, and training of the occupant.
Desirable Requirements
- Qualifications in injury management.
- Qualifications in project management.
- Ability to travel throughout Tasmania
