Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Conduct research and analysis into legislative and legal policies either individually or in conjunction with other staff to develop solutions, proposals and recommendations.
- Undertake and assist with specific legislative and legal projects and policies including planning, development, coordination, implementation, monitoring and review.
- Analyse policy proposals particularly in the form of briefings, cabinet papers and minutes.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation including project plans, reports, correspondence, briefings, Cabinet papers and minutes.
- Liaise with agencies and other stakeholders where required.
- Provide secretariat support to committees and project teams, and general support as required.
Essential Requirements
- Graduated with a minimum of a three-year undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the last three years or have graduated by the end of January 2024 (qualifying degrees as rated by the Australian Qualifications Framework are at level 7 or above)
- Post-graduate degrees will only be accepted provided that a three-year undergraduate degree has also been obtained.

- Tertiary qualifications in law
