Job description:
Support the delivery of various communication and fisheries awareness activities relating to the sustainable management of Tasmania’s sea fisheries.
About the role
As part of a small collaborative team, the Print and Digital Media Officer (Fisheries) will focus on creating engaging and accessible communications that promote sustainable fishing in Tasmania.
- Write, design, and edit content for web pages, documents, and communication products.
- Prepare materials (including photos, videos, graphics and articles) for use on social media sites, websites, and in other promotional media.
- Respond to enquiries from stakeholders and fishers.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment
12 months.
Desirable requirements
- A current Motor Vehicles drivers’ licence.
- Bachelor’s degree, relevant to the duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
