Job description:

The Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator is looking for an Executive Officer for a fixed term period, starting ASAP until 13 October 2025.

  • Provide executive and administrative support to the Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator.

About You

The Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator is looking for a motivated Executive Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our Office. You will be a positive and motivated individual, with strong communication and organisational skills to help our Office run effectively and efficiently.

You will be the primary contact point for people contacting the Office and have the ability to handle routine enquiries, prepare draft correspondence, update databases and keep track of documents.

You will have:

  • a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse team members
  • knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgeting
  • experience tracking documents and maintaining databases
  • strong organisational and output management skills

The Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator conducts regulatory, licensing and compliance activities in relation to regulated businesses and provides advice and support to the Tasmanian Economic Regulator. The Office also produces energy, water and sewerage industry performance reports and approves electricity, water and sewerage and third-party insurance pricing.

Period of Appointment

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.
