Job description:
Manage the tenement administration team, provide leadership and management support to the Director Minerals Resources Tasmania and the Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT) management team to ensure an efficient process for applications relating to mineral tenements and administration of the Mineral Resources and Development Act 1995 (the Act).

Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a permanent, flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight).
Duties
- Ensure documents related to mineral tenements meet the requirements of the Act.
- Manage the tenement administration team, including the Registrar.
- Coordinate the human and physical resources of the tenement administration team $1.
- Provide specialist consultative advice relating to the administration of the Act and Regulations to key stakeholders.
- Provide management and leadership support to the Director, MRT and the management team to ensure effective and appropriate management of the Division.
