Job description:

This position contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Public Trustee by providing support and assist the delivery of projects. The activities will include project management, research, analytical and administrative work.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  1. Manage and coordinate the delivery of the Public Trustee’s programme of strategic projects, using appropriate project management tools and techniques to ensure time-frames are achieved and outcomes delivered in accordance with approved business cases.
  2. Prepare correspondence, reports and submissions relating to the progress of projects. 
  3. Assist with the delivery of project management activities within governance frameworks, this includes implementing detailed plans and schedules to ensure that agreed targets, milestones and quality standards are met, providing timely status reports and other relevant documentation as required.
  4. Undertake research, business and/or data analysis, investigation, evaluation and the provision of options and recommendations in providing support to developing and implementing projects.
  5. Monitor the work undertaken by suppliers, ensuring all relevant parties are fully briefed on proposed tasks, agreed standards of delivery, timelines and expected outcomes.
  6. The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Desirable Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications, Cert IV in project management or relevant work experience.
