Job description:
Provide project support to the Events Tasmania team plus the co-ordination of the Princes Wharf No 1 contract and ministerial briefs. This position is also responsible for the oversight of the championship and touring grant programs.

Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 24 months.
Duties
- Oversee and assess applications submitted under the championship and touring grant programs.
- Support the Project Manager – Event Attraction with the implementation of the Event Attraction Fund and the Tasmanian Festivals and Events Support Fund.
- Coordinate and monitor the Princes Wharf contract and formulate appropriate recommendations for consideration by the Director Events Tasmania.
- Coordinate processes and prepare high-level briefing notes, correspondence, documentation and ministerial responses on events.
- Provide advice and support to event organisers regarding eligibility and grant programs.
- Undertake other duties as requested.
Desirable Requirements
- A current drivers licence
