Job description:

Contribute to the Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner by providing customer focused administrative support, ensuring the provision of efficient and effective support to the complaint handling and training/community education team.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Provide a wide range of administrative and clerical functions, including reception services and management of files and electronic records.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Investigation and Conciliation Officers during complaint handling procedures.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Training and Education Officer and the Community Engagement and Education Officer.
  • Assist with the continuing development of administrative procedures, templates and publication materials, as required.
  • Maintain the office stationery supplies and prepare minutes of staff meetings.
  • Undertake administrative tasks under the instruction and guidance of the Business Services Coordinator.

Desirable Requirements

  • Business Office Administration Certificate or similar qualification.
