Job description:
We are seeking a Senior Executive Support and Policy Officer to provide executive support to the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission and undertake research and investigations into gambling and liquor licensing matters to support policy and regulatory objectives.
Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
Duties
- Provide high-level secretariat support to the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission by applying judgment, initiative and discretion.
- Research, analyse, and investigate specific gambling and liquor licensing issues to support the formulation of solutions, proposals, and recommendations that are clear and evidence-based.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies, legislation, projects, and other regulatory services related to gambling and liquor licensing.
- Prepare a range of written materials, including briefings, correspondence, reports, and submissions that are clear and succinct.
- Maintain awareness of trends and developments in the regulation and administration of gambling and liquor in Australia.
