Job description:
Contribute to the Business Tasmania Service, primarily through provision of high-level customer service, as well as provide assistance with the delivery of projects, programs, events and services within the Small Business team and more broadly, across the Department of State Growth.

Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for two (2) years
Duties
- The primary focus and responsibility of the role is to provide high level customer service to clients, accurately assessing and responding to customer enquiries to provide tailored information and targeted referrals to a broad range of services and programs.
- Prepare clear, timely, and accurate information, and ensure all enquiries are documented to a high standard within the various systems used by the Business Tasmania Service, including the Enquiry Management System (EMS).
- Produce high-level documentation including correspondence, reports, files notes, and responses to Ministerial requests for a range of different audiences.
- Undertake research, analysis and interpretation of feedback received, information, and trends in the business community to identify new content, tools, and resources for the Tasmanian small business sector.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, events, website/newsletter/social media content and correspondence to inform and engage the small business sector directly and through a broad range of stakeholders and networks.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Small Business Unit to support the development and delivery of projects, programs, grants (including grant assessments and acquittals), and services.
- Undertake other duties as required to assist the broader Small Business Unit.
