Job description:

Exciting opportunity to apply your project and stakeholder management expertise and oversee different digital initiatives delivered by the Department’s IT Projects and Improvements team.

About You

We are looking for an organised and driven IT project manager to join our information and technology services team for 2 years. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team to provide expertise, advice and project management support for Treasury’s information and technology related projects.

Your role will be to manage the end-to-end delivery of projects and drive business improvement while ensuring a considered change management approach. 

Ideally you will have:

  • Project management expertise with the ability to lead multiple IT projects concurrently.
  • Stakeholder management skills and experience influencing diverse individuals.
  • Experience leading project teams to defined timelines.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate outcomes with others.

About the Branch

Treasury’s Information and Technology Services branch provide information and technology advice and assistance to the Department, and support branches with their use of information and technology to improve efficiency, services and outcomes. This includes managing and delivering technology and information management related projects.

Period of Appointment

Fixed term for 2 years. 

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

Desirable Requirements

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
