Job description:

The position contributes to the delivery of a high standard of Records and Information Management services to the Department of Justice and facilitates access to Departmental information.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Take a lead role in the development and implementation of records and information management projects including the rollout of and upgrades to the Department’s Electronic Document Record Management System – Content Manager.
  • Take a lead role in the management of the Department’s EDRMS, including control of system access and permissions, and management of licences and user profiles.
  • Assist with the ongoing improvement activities associated with Content Manager and other records and information management initiatives by identifying, analysing, researching and determining solutions for issues that arise.
  • Provide training and authoritative advice to staff on the operation of the EDRMS and create and update procedures and advice sheets specific to output requirements.
  • Undertake other records and information management related projects under the general direction of the Manager, Records Services.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required, including planning and coordinating meetings with outputs regarding the implementation and ongoing use of the EDRMS and associated upgrades.
  • Promote compliance with better records management standards and practices, in order to provide a client focused service throughout the Agency.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Content Manager (previously known as Records Manager and TRIM).
