Job description:

Effectively assist in the administration of the risk-based registration and licensing schemes in accordance with legislation and through policies and procedures of the Risk-based Registration and Licensing Unit.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Ensure the proper registration of applicants in Tasmania including decisions on applications, the administration of all processes and the maintenance of the registration system.
  • Interpretation and administration of the RWVP legislative framework.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation and interpretation of the reporting obligations of the unit.
  • Provide advice into determinations, amendments to legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and review of publications, documents and website content.
  • Participate as appropriate, in public consultation processes, including providing information on how the process works.
  • To provide support and advice to the Manager and to undertake other duties as required.
