Job description:
The primary objectives of this position are to provide clerical and administrative support to the Commission and provide an advisory service to planning authorities and the general public, in respect to the Commissions assessment processes.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of land use planning procedures and applicable legislation, or the demonstrated ability, to quickly acquire such knowledge within a reasonable timeframe.
- Provide a first point of contact and advisory service in the Commission reception for planning authorities and the general public.
- Perform administrative support for assessment and review processes including tasks for hearings or meetings as required by Commission staff. Examples include, booking meetings, venues, travel arrangements, document management and other tasks as required.
- Assist with the maintenance and content update of the Commission’s websites (external website, iplan, intraplanet).
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements when reviewing documents for publication on Commission websites.
- Assist with the maintenance and archiving of the organisation’s record/case management systems.
- Perform other tasks relevant to the skills and experience of the position holder as required from time to time.
