About You
This is a great opportunity to lead and contribute to research and analysis that supports the provision of policy advice to the Government on state tax policy issues.
You are ready to lead policy development on complex matters related to the major sources of revenue to the Government.
You are a motivated individual with sound judgement combined with strong analytical and communication skills.
You are capable of leading policy research and analysis on complex issues and clearly articulating difficult technical issues to stakeholders. You will also have demonstrated leadership skills and enjoy contributing to a positive and collaborative environment.

About the Branch
The Intergovernment and Financial Policy branch provides advice on the major sources of revenue to the Government such as the GST, own source taxation, and Australian Government grants and transfers. The branch also provides policy advice on major intergovernment agreements such as health, education, housing, disability, infrastructure, and the environment.
Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
