Job description:
Deliver high-quality day-to-day general administration management and public interaction services for Biosecurity Tasmania; ensuring adherence to Departmental policies and operating within governance frameworks to ensure on-going sustainable practices and outcomes.

About the role
The Biosecurity Administration Coordinator will lead and mentor a small, dynamic team to deliver high-quality administrative service and customer services for Biosecurity Tasmania.
This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and streamline administrative processes, drive continuous improvement, and enhance business practices across the division. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring consistent, effective support for operational and strategic priorities within Biosecurity Tasmania.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience working in a similar role, providing support within a business services unit or function.
- Experience with Government administrative practices and procedures.
- Current drivers’ licence and the ability to travel within the state.
- Experience in using Microsoft Suite.
