Job description:
Assess the potential impacts of development proposals on natural values in Tasmania & develop impact mitigation strategies and solutions.

About the role
The purpose of the role is to assess the potential impacts of development proposals on natural values, develop impact mitigation strategies and solutions, provide professional advice on natural resource management and nature conservation issues in Tasmania, and supervise or manage junior staff.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
- A Degree in Science, relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
- A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
