Tourism Tasmania is looking for an Executive Coordinator - Marketing who has proven experience in project management and planning, who loves logistics, and enjoys juggling multiple responsibilities or tasks concurrently.

Tourism Tasmania is looking for an Executive Coordinator - Marketing who has proven experience in project management and planning, who loves logistics, and enjoys juggling multiple responsibilities or tasks concurrently.

You will provide a key support role within the marketing planning team and will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer, marketing leadership team and broader marketing team to support strategic planning as well as coordinate and plan a range of activities that engage key stakeholders and support Tourism Tasmania’s marketing objectives.

You will have strong attention to detail, supported by your passion for organisation and operations and will use initiative to proactively drive outcomes through effective interpersonal and communication skills. You are adaptable, stay calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced marketing environment.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Providing project management, planning and logistics for a range of marketing activities including marketing leadership meetings, stakeholder presentations, and other marketing initiatives as required. You will maintain a high degree of awareness of the marketing program and current activities associated with the marketing program in order to provide day-to-day support to the marketing team's operations.
  • Delivering high level professional support to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and marketing leadership team including proactive coordination and planning of marketing programs as well as providing project support including communications, report preparation, timely response to stakeholder enquiries, meeting coordination and invoice processing.

What you'll work on

  • Use discretion and judgement to provide high level communications and operations support to the Chief Marketing Officer and marketing leadership team in consultation with the Marketing Planning Manager.
  • Support the delivery of marketing projects and activities including leadership meetings, campaign launches and marketing workshops.
  • Support the efficient delivery of the marketing program including coordination of team planning and managing tools to support program delivery, accurate record keeping and reporting aligned with the marketing strategy.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, secure appropriate venues, as required, and manage competing priorities.
  • Support budget management including invoice processing and marketing finance support, prepare and monitor monthly cashflows and seek cost estimates for marketing activities, as required, aligned with relevant policies and procedures to ensure organisational efficiency and support the delivery of key marketing programs.
