- Undertake administrative and financial tasks, including preparing correspondence, reports and other stakeholder communication and process tax invoices using established financial management information systems.
- Assist with the management of contracts to ensure the effective delivery of goods and services.
- Participate in the sale of surplus Crown properties including managing contractors and consultants involved in preparing properties for sale.

About You
Treasury is looking for a Property Officer to join our Property Branch to support the delivery of strategic projects and assist in the sale of surplus Government property assets.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in procurement processes, prepare documentation that provides advice, recommendations, or information on strategic property projects or asset sales, and contribute to the sale of surplus Crown properties.
You will be a motivated and organised individual with a good understanding of guidelines, systems and processes. You will coordinate and integrate functions and interpret frameworks to resolve complex operational issues within your scope of work.
This role suits someone who has experience working in property or facilities areas or has experience in undertaking procurement activities.

About the Branch
The Property Branch provides advice on and administers the Treasury office portfolio and facilities and is responsible for Treasury’s strategic projects. The branch also manages and administers the Government’s major property sales and major office accommodation leases.
Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
