Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Coordinate the preparation and publication of public-facing information products, including statutory notices, elector brochures, media updates and official reports, by managing contributions from content owners and ensuring materials are accurate, accessible, and delivered to deadline.
- Liaise with internal and external contributors, suppliers and contractors to support the effective production and distribution of communication outputs.
- Maintain and update information on the TEC website and other platforms, ensuring content is current, clear and aligned with audience needs and engagement goals.
- Coordinate TEC call centre operations during election periods by working with staff and internal teams to ensure the necessary systems, procedures and resources are in place to provide clear and accurate information to the public.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and continuous improvement across all TEC communications, and contribute to documenting and refining content workflows.
- Collaborate with the TEC Data Analyst to prepare and present election-related information for publication, ensuring alignment with audience requirements and communication goals.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems and tools used to coordinate election events, including SMS and email broadcast platforms, with a focus on data integrity and operational readiness.
- Plan and maintain a calendar of social media activity, working with team members and stakeholders to deliver content in accordance with TEC priorities and guidelines.
- Support TEC’s digital engagement by monitoring social media activity, tracking performance, escalating issues where appropriate, and maintaining relevant platforms.
