Job description:
Represent the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) and be the first point of contact for visitors to Mount Field and the Southwest World Heritage areas.

About the role
As Business Enterprise Coordinator, you’ll manage the business and day-to-day operations of the Mount Field Visitor Centre.
- Liaise with stakeholders in the park, including tour operators and the café staff.
- Coordinate staff and supervise two direct reports.
- Undertake business management activities including budget management, rostering, and recruitment.
Based at one of Tasmania’s oldest National Parks and the gateway to Tasmania’s jewel heritage reserve, the Western Arthurs, you’ll enjoy engaging, educating, and providing detailed advice to visitors on attractions, weather conditions, and safety. This role will experience all the exciting seasons at the park, including the changing of the Fagus, winter snowfall, and summer days perfect for hiking.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
- Qualifications in business management, marketing or administration.
- Current First Aid Certificate – Workplace Level 2.
- Current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
