Job description:

Lead a specialist team delivering examination and registration of legal instruments under property law and legal registration frameworks.

About the role

As Section Manager, you will lead a specialist team within the Land Titles Office responsible for the examination and registration of legal instruments across Tasmania’s property and land title frameworks. The section oversees instruments and documents lodged under the Land Titles Act 1980, Powers of Attorney Act 2000 and the Registration of Deeds Act 1935, ensuring compliance with the Recorder’s Directions and the Tasmanian Participation Rules.

In this role you will:

  • Provide specialist technical and policy advice relating to registration and subdivision services.
  • Lead the team to build skills, enhance capability and improve work systems.
  • Contribute to the ongoing reform of the Land Titles Office.
  • Support strategic policy initiatives and ensure effective data management and reporting.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Desirable requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
