Join the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) in a diverse role at the beautiful Fortescue Bay campground

About the role

As Campground Host Ranger, you’ll provide an exceptional visitor experience to Fortescue Bay campground users.

  • Provide information to visitors about the campsite and recreational opportunities.
  • Provide timely and professional customer service through the management of campsite bookings, email enquiries and visitor communications.
  • Undertake compliance activities, including checking for campground and park entry fee passes.
  • Use the point of sale and cash handling systems to complete retail sales and collect fees.
  • Carry out routine servicing and cleaning of the campground.

This is a fixed-term appointment for six months at Fortescue Bay.

Hours per fortnight

58.80.

Period of appointment

6 months. 

Desirable requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
  • A current First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
