
About the role
The purpose of the role is to apply data analysis techniques, tools, and methods to extract insights from datasets and support informed decision-making. The role liaises with stakeholders to understand data needs and improve reporting and data-driven processes.
The position provides data management, reporting, and analytical support to functional areas within Marine Resources, focusing on interpreting data, producing regular outputs, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment
2 years.
Essential requirements
- A degree relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a recognised tertiary institution.
Desirable requirements
- Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS) or other response training.
