Job description:

Provide specialist information and cyber security advice and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders across the department, contribute to department security programs, uplift security practices and technology and maintain department risk and compliance obligations.

Please Note – This opportunity is open to permanent ICT Level 2 employees of NRE Tas only who are interested in a transfer at their substantive classification level. Employees who do not hold a permanent  ICT Level 2 position are not eligible to apply.

About the role

Provide specialist information and cyber security advice and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders across the department, contribute to department security programs, uplift security practices and technology and maintain department risk and compliance obligations.  

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Desirable requirements

  • A degree in Information Technology or other relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Current Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence.
