Job description:
Oversee the work of the Aquaculture Branch and be the primary coordination point within the Tasmanian Government for aquaculture companies and investors, peak bodies, research, and community organisations and for local, State and Federal Government Agencies in relation to aquaculture.

Key focus areas include:
- Strategic leadership of the Aquaculture Branch and support to the broader Marine Resources Strategic Business Unit.
- Best practice management of a team providing high-level technical and policy advice to government.
- Leading experts in developing policy and programs in response to marine stressor events
- Lead the administration of the Tasmania’s marine farming and living marine resources regulatory functions.
- Build strong relationships across industry, government, research and community sectors.
- Foster collaboration and innovation to support marine resource management.
To succeed in this role, you will be a highly capable executive leader with proven experience operating in a complex environment and delivering strategic outcomes through effective leadership, engagement and collaboration.
