Job description:
Provide professional archival services to meet the functional requirements of the Archives Act and participate in the development and implementation of associated policies and programs.
This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

Duties
Provide professional archival services to meet the functional requirements of the Archives Act and participate in the development and implementation of associated policies and programs.
Period of Appointment
Ongoing - Start date of 3 February 2025
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
Hours per fortnight
73.5 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
- Degree from a recognised university or college of advanced education, preferably in record management, history or other relevant study area.

- Current Driver’s Licence
