Job description:
Within this context the Program Support Officer will work under the Librarian of School Libraries to plan, coordinate, deliver and promote targeted support for school libraries to improve collections and services in a contemporary school library environment.
This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

Duties
The Program Support Officer will work under the Librarian of School Libraries to plan, coordinate, deliver and promote targeted support for school libraries to improve collections and services in a contemporary school library environment.
Period of Appointment
ASAP until 30 June 2027

Hours per fortnight
73.5 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
- A Current Driver’s Licence
