Job description:

Support insights into educational and business performance through analysis and reporting in a contemporary business intelligence environment, including supporting clients in relation to data management, analysis and reporting to facilitate the organisation’s shift to a data driven decision making mindset using a range of sources including from student information systems, assessments, and surveys.

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.  Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

Duties

Support insights into educational and business performance through analysis and reporting in a contemporary business intelligence environment, including supporting clients in relation to data management, analysis and reporting to facilitate the organisation’s shift to a data driven decision making mindset using a range of sources including from student information systems, assessments, and surveys.

Period of Appointment

ASAP for 12 months

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience is SQL and data visualisation software such as Microsoft Power BI.
