Duties
Work within a specialised and complex area to assist the Commissioning and Sector Engagement team in determining the qualification of services under the Children and Families’ capability framework. The incumbent will contribute to co-ordination, communication and engagement activities which support the operational commissioning activities and will undertake compliance and monitoring to enhance stakeholder confidence in services delivered by Community Service Organisations. The incumbent will work productively across the Department and relevant sectors to balance compliance and business needs, and stakeholder interests related to commissioning and community service organisations.

Ongoing - ASAP start date

Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
- The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a. crimes of violence
b. sex related offences
c. serious drug offences
d. crimes involving dishonesty
e. serious traffic offences
2. Identification check
3. Disciplinary actions in previous employment check
Desirable Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution.
