Job description:

Provide high level advice, guidance and support in information technology and maximise business applications and data use to improve the learning opportunities and outcomes of students, through technologies and connected learning and business application environments, working with schools across the specified Learning Service, and as part of a larger leadership group State-wide.

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.  Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

About the Role

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - ASAP start date

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • Appropriate post-secondary qualification and / or industry experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities. 
  • Relevant experience (preferably five or more years) in the delivery of IT project management or business analysis services.
  • A current driver’s licence.
