The role manages the operations of the Newstead Student Residence and supports a team of student residence staff including a youth worker and supervisors. The role also works extensively with relevant college student wellbeing and leadership teams.

About the Role
Manage the day-to-day operations of a student residence facility, ensuring the delivery of a safe and supported service for years 11 and 12 students living away from home to complete their studies. The role will provide leadership and support to facility staff who are responsible for the engagement, safeguarding, wellbeing, and supervision of residents, subsequently building the self-esteem, resilience, capacity and engagement of all student residents, and ensuring their success in the completion of their studies.
This position is located at Newstead College, Launceston.
We are looking for:
Essential
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
Desirable
- A current driver’s licence
- Relevant Qualifications
